Bio Urja
The Bio-Urja Portal, developed by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), Government of India, serves as a single window platform to register and submit online applications for grant of Central Financial Assistance (CFA) to Waste to Energy projects, Biogas / BioCNG / Power / Producer or Syngas from Urban, Industrial and Agricultural Wastes/Residues, Biomass Briquette/Pellet Manufacturing Plants and Biomass (Non-bagasse) based Cogeneration projects.

CCAC is committed to reducing SLCPs like methane, black carbon, tropospheric ozone and hydrofluorocarbons that drive both climate change and air pollution.

Greenhouse Gas Platform India (GHGPI)
The GHG Platform India is a collective civil-society initiative which provides an independent estimation and analysis of India’s greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions across key sectors. The platform currently hosts national and sub-national estimates for GHG emissions from 2005 to 2018 by accounting for carbon dioxide (CO2), methane (CH4) and nitrous oxide (N2O) gases.

The India Climate and Energy Dashboard (ICED) developed by NITI Aayog in collaboration with Vasudha Foundation, is a comprehensive platform offering near real-time data on India’s energy, climate and related economic sectors.
International Methane Emissions Observatory (IMEO)
The United Nations Environment Programme's International Methane Emissions Observatory (IMEO) exists to provide open, reliable, and actionable data to the individuals with the agency to reduce methane emissions. As a core implementer of the Global Methane Pledge, IMEO provides the data needed to deploy methane solutions at speed and scale and deliver on the goal of reducing methane emissions 30% by 2030 from 2020 levels.
Methane Alert and Response System (MARS)
IMEO’s Methane Alert Response System (MARS) is the first public global satellite detection and notification system providing actionable data on very large methane emissions around the world. The UNEP launched MARS at COP27 in 2022 to accelerate implementation of the Global Methane Pledge.
